Privacy Policy
Last updated August 27, 2026
Hip-Hop Day LA respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through a form on this site:
- Event submissions: organizer name, email, phone (optional), and the details of the event you are proposing.
- Partnership and contact inquiries: your name, email, organization (optional), and your message.
- Newsletter signups: your email address.
Our servers also record standard technical information with each submission, such as your browser user-agent string and the time of the request. This is used to prevent spam and abuse.
What we do with it
We use your information to review your submission, respond to you, and, if you signed up for it, send you occasional updates about Hip-Hop Day LA. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored on our hosting provider’s infrastructure in the United States. Access is limited to the Hip-Hop Day LA team.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. To make a request, use the contact form.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Youth program enrollment is handled directly by our education partners under their own policies and consent processes.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
